The Atons will reach the 50-year milestone in 2022. We invite you to “Celebrate the 70s” with us as we return to our roots. Come to our run and celebrate! We’ll be hosting parties, games, a banquet, and more! We’ll also be hosting the Summer MACC meeting, so help us welcome our leather family from regional leather clubs.

Registration Includes
Lodging: 3 days and 2 nights. The cabins are communal and sleep up to 18 people each in two rooms with four bunk beds and one room with two single beds. All cabins have heat and electricity. There are no cabin reservations. They are first-come first-serve.
Meals: Friday night dinner, Saturday breakfast and lunch, a formal banquet on Saturday night, and brunch on Sunday. We’ll also have snacks.
Arriving Early: Run attendees are welcome to arrive on Thursday, 9/15. You are responsible for your own food until Friday dinner.
Activities
We are planning meals, games, discussions, play spaces, and other events over the weekend. There are also nature trails nearby. Finding a nice shady spot to read a book or reconnecting with old friends are also options. For those who want to play, we will have dungeon and play spaces available. You are welcome to bring equipment, but please contact us if your equipment is large and might need special accommodations.
RV’s and Tents: We cannot accommodate RV’s or tents due to state park rules.
Items to Bring
Sleeping bags or other bedding, blankets, pillows, towels, toiletries, flashlight, insect repellent, and sunscreen.
Not Allowed
No pets, non-prescription drugs, or public (outside) nudity are allowed, in accordance with state park rules.
Rules and Code of Conduct
By registering for this event, you are certifying that you are at least 21 years of age, and understand that nonprescription drugs are not allowed on the site and that neither the site owners nor the Atons of Minneapolis are liable for any injuries or damages, caused by either others or yourself, intentionally or not, or for any loss of personal property.
All attendees are required to acknowledge that they have read and agree to the Atons of Minneapolis code of conduct.
COVID Policy
The Atons want to provide a safe and healthy event. We are asking that all run attendees show proof of vaccination when arriving at the campsite. A photo of your vaccination card on your phone is ok. We also require attendees to acknowledge during registration that they are vaccinated or will have completed vaccination by September 1, 2022.
If you are not feeling well in the days leading up to the event, please get tested or stay home. If you have a positive COVID test result within 14-day before the run, you will not be allowed to attend.
If the COVID pandemic situation gets worse by September 2022, we may need to expand our COVID safety plan to include mask requirements and social distancing.
Permit Required
You will need a 2022 Minnesota State Parks Permit to enter the park. This costs $7 per day permit or $35 for a year-round permit, if you don’ t already have one. (We encourage you to get the year-round permit so you can enjoy more of Minnesota’s beautiful state parks).
Permits can be purchased online or at any state park, or you can buy it on-site as you drive into the park.
Refund Policy
If you cancel your reservation before August 15, 2022, we will refund your registration cost minus the PayPal processing fee. If we cancel the Run, we will refund registrations including PayPal processing fees.

Question and Answers:
Q: I don’t belong to any club. Can I register for the run?
A: YES. Everyone is welcome.
Q: I paid for the run, but do I have to fill out a registration form or need any other info?
A: NO. You are all set. Please make sure you have read the Rules & Code of conduct, Covid Policy, Refund Policy, and such.
Q: Can I reserve a cabin on hold?
A: NO. The cabins are first-come, first-serve.
Q: Do cabins have electricity?
A: Yes. The cabins have electricity and heat.
Q: Can I arrive Thursday the 15th, the day before the run? And is there an additional charge?
A: You can come on Thursday at no additional charge. But you will be responsible for your meals until Friday dinner.
Q: Are they any places to eat nearby on Thursday?
A: You need to check in advance for nearby places to eat. We don’t know what will be open or closed at this time.
Q: Do I have to pay an additional $7 for the State Park permit?
A: This is only for vehicles. ONE permit per vehicle, no matter how many individuals are in a vehicle.
Q: Do I need to be vaccinated for Covid?
A: YES. See Covid Policy on the Atons Registration page.
